Instructions for this child’s sweater are given in sizes 4 and 6 years, with your choice of raglan or set-in sleeves. The waves are worked by the Fair Isle knitting method, and the swan is worked by Intarsia.

Two different brands of yarn are recommended, including Mary Maxim Northland or Cloudspun.

Yarn Amounts:
Northland - 4 (5) skeins (16 or 20 oz) blue; 1 skein (4 oz) white
Cloudspun - 8 (9) skeins (16 or 18 oz) blue; 1 skeins (2 oz) white

Small amounts of black and orange yarn are also required for the eyes and beak of the swan.
