Pattern Notes:
These mittens are ambidextrous; make both alike. Two strands of yarn are held together for entire project. Carry yarns loosely at back of work. It will be necessary to adjust stripes/checks as you increase or decrease to maintain pattern continuity. Increases for thumb gusset are mirror-imaged and are worked by knitting in row below.

Cable Cast-On for thumb.

Adult small (medium, large) instructions are given for smallest size, with larger sizes in parentheses. When only 1 number is given, it applies to all sizes.

Finished Measurement:
Length: 10 (10.5”, 11”)

Gauge:
To insure proper fit, take time to check gauge

Materials:
Blue Sky Sport Weight 100% alpaca (2 oz./120 yards per ball) - 2 balls each, natural #000 (CC) and #403 moss (MC)
Size 4 double pointed needles
Size 6 double pointed needles or size need to obtain gauge
