Chill Pillows
Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “The design of these pillows was inspired by the groovy 1970s-era house my friends bought on the side of a hill near Los Angeles. They built a cushioned sofalike platform along two sides of their living room, and suddenly they needed pillows - lots of pillows - to pad the ‘back’ of the sofa, which was simply a wall. This was just the excuse I needed to play with some funky stitch patterns (loop and nubble) that would mesh well with the overall look of the house. Tip: If you prefer, you can use fabric for the backs of the pillows instead of knitting them. This is especially handy if you want to use up leftover yarn and don’t have enough to make both a front and a back panel.”
