This wrap is named for the famous Pan Am flying boats, the China Clippers. Entering service in 1935, they delivered mail across the Pacific. Vintage photos show rows of square windows along the fuselage, hence the rows of “windows” in the wrap. This design is a homage to my father, who worked on China Clippers as a young aircraft mechanic.
