This is my first shawl design. Chincoteague Shawl pattern v1.1 is full pattern write up. It includes instructions for both written and chart knitting.

This pattern has been knit via written instructions and no problems have been found/reported. I have knit this pattern from the charts and as far as I know there aren’t any problems with them. Additionally, this pattern has been checked over by WISinOR and found stitch counts, charts, and written instructions to be accurate. The only exception is Chart A - Set up, which does not correctly show the garter stitch border on the wrong side rows. Please follow the written instructions for Chart A -Set up or note that for every row the first and last three stitches are always knit stitches. I’ve decided not to send out a pattern correction for this error.
