THE ACTUAL PATTERN IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL 11/3. THIS NO-COST PORTION OF THE PATTERN GIVES SWATCHING INSTRUCTIONS, SCHEMATICS, MEASURING GUIDANCE, AND IS A FILLABLE FORM FOR COLLECTING INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMIZATION.

The Pattern Tailor will do all of the calculations to get a perfectly sized Chios Cowl.

This pattern can be worked top down, or bottom up!

Yarn consumption will vary. In lace weight I used 270 to 280 yards / 247 to 256 meters.

There are 3 needle sizes, and you will need a BOR marker and optional stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.

I love to swatch and encourage you to give it a try! I have instructions for making an in-the-round or I-cord swatch, but you can always work flat. This is, after all, a cowl.

But record your information so you can use it as gauge when my two pullovers are released in January/February!

This cowl combines Twisted Trio Rib on 3 different needles, to make the fabric different at three locations. The Mesh stitch pattern is open and airy -- opposite of the twisted stitches.

There are GSRs (German short rows) in the Mesh to make the back hang at the same length as the front.

Completely customizable, I have given you my sample dimensions for comparison. There are instructions for taking measurements, and videos!

ALL AT NO COST. The Pattern Tailor connection will be released on 11/3/2025 and the price of the e-book will be $18.
