Chirimoyo lace es un suéter de canesú circular, que se teje en forma tubular, comenzando desde el cuello hacia abajo. El cuello se teje en punto elástico retorcido, le sigue una sección de vueltas cortas, para dar altura a la espalda. Al cuello le sigue el canesú, tejido en calado fantasía que simula hojas. Luego de tejer la altura necesaria, se separan las mangas y el cuerpo. Estos se tejen en punto jersey, terminando con una pretina de punto elástico retorcido.

El suéter está diseñado para que elijas tu talla de acuerdo a las medidas finales de la prenda. La idea es que escojas la holgura y largos que más se acomoden a tu cuerpo o gustos.
Te sugiero medir tu circunferencia de cuerpo y brazos, largos de mangas y cuerpo. Con esos datos pensar en la holgura deseada. También puedes medir algún suéter o prenda que se acomode a tus gustos o a como imaginaras el suéter terminado.
Una misma talla puede acomodarse a distintos cuerpos de acuerdo al gusto.

Los hilados son usados juntos, formando una doble hebra.
-Baby alpaca seda (BAS), grosor fingering de Pasión a mano, color Hiedra; 400 m en cada madeja de 100 g.
-Baby alpaca merino seda (BAMS), grosor lace de Pasión a Mano, color Menta; 450 m en cada madeja de 50 g.

Metraje utilizado: 738 (810, 900, 999, 1080) (1152, 1215, 1296, 1350, 1440) (1521, 1584) m, en hilado usado doble.

Muestra de tensión:
18 puntos x 28 vueltas = 10 x 10 cm.
En punto jersey bloqueado, tejido circularmente, usando palillos
de 4,5 mm o el grosor adecuado para obtener la muestra.

Chirimoyo (Custard Apple Tree) lace is a circular yoke, top down sweater, which is knitted in a tubular way. The collar is knit in twisted ribbing stitch, followed by a section of short rows, to give height to the back. The collar is followed by the yoke, knitted in a fancy lace stitch to simulate the Chirimoyo tree leaves. After knitting the necessary height, the sleeves and the body are separated.
