Chock a block
Please note: This is a digital PDF download of the crochet pattern only
Why should quilters have all the fun? This striking blanket uses a classic log cabin patchwork design to create a stylish, colourful effect. We love the look in yarn rather than fabric, with the Tunisian stitches adding elements of texture and depth for a three-dimensional look.
The white, blue and brown colour scheme will cheer up any space, although you can crochet it with any five colours you like. The patchwork-style construction means it’s portable and breaks the blanket down into manageable chunks.
If you’re new to Tunisian crochet, this is a great simple project to start with.
The blanket is worked in 6 large squares, which are sewn together and a border added. Each square is worked in blocks, which are cast off before joining in the next colour.
