The pattern is designed for use with 1 skein of my Pearlescent Superwash Merino Wool Silk Worsted Weight yarn in colorway Brocade. If that is out of stock (our colors are limited edition and come and go), then any worsted weight yarn will do.
WHAT MAKES THIS COWL SO AWESOME
•It’s an easy 4-row repeat. You can memorize it in a snap. Wonderful for knitting while chatting or traveling. A great pattern for knit night!
•It’s quick to make. One skein and done. Boom. If you frequently get bored with knitting projects, you don’t have to worry about that with this little beauty. It knits up in a snap and even if you decide to bind off early before using up the whole skein, you still have a usable cowl to wear.
•You don’t have to worry about running out of yarn. Yup. So true. I love designing patterns like this. You can stop early, or use another skein and keep going, making a larger cowl! Up to you.
•It’s gorgeous to wear. It’s shimmering and plump with softness so feels like an absolute dream around your neck.
•It’s adjustable. Cast on double the stitches for a longer infinity scarf if you like! (You’d need 2 skeins/ 8 oz of worsted weight yarn then.)
•It’s inspired by chocolate diamonds. Shall we say, YUM?
It uses size US 9 (5.5mm) circular needles and is great for beginners to advanced-level knitters! You’ll need to know how to knit, purl, ssk (slip slip knit) and yo (yarn over).
Enjoy wearing your sexy Chocolate Diamonds Cowl!
