This project makes a great stash buster. I used approximately 24m/ 26.5yds (7-8g/ 0.3oz) for the main body part of the cover. The other parts all used smaller amounts of DK yarn.

Materials:
DK weight yarn
Shirring elastic
Polyester stuffing
Small craft bell (Reindeer version only)
Instructions are given for the method I used to make the micro pompom on the Gingerbread Man version.

The cozy is crocheted in the amigurumi style ie a continuous spiral. It may help to use a stitch marker to note the start/ end of the round.

These make lovely little decorative additions under the tree or on the table, secret santa gifts, great stocking fillers, gifts for teacher at the end of term (if you’re being healthy they cover an apple or orange! too).
