Christmas Bunting
The latest in my series of knitted bunting features nine striped flags spelling out the word ‘Christmas’ and then eight more plain ones, each with its own festive decoration. Both the letters and decorations are knitted separately and then sewn on to the flags.
You will need about 30g each of nine different colours and 40g of a lighter colour for the striped flags (I used cream). My bunting was knitted with three shades of red, green and yellow / gold.
The letters are knitted strips sewn round pipe cleaners and you’ll also need two long lengths of 6 mm dowel to hang the finished bunting. Full details are given in the pattern.
You can knit the whole thing or just one or two flags with your favourite decorations on them. The finished bunting is about 140 cm wide.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff
