Christmas Celebration
From the book: Each panel contains a traditional symbol of the season. Easy embroidery and braided fringe are festive accents.
The pattern specifies: Worsted-weight acrylic yarn, approximately:

21 oz. (1320 yards / 1207 meters): green, MC

14 oz. (880 yards / 805 meters): white, A

17.5 oz. (1100 yards / 1006 meters): red, B

14 oz. (880 yards / 805 meters): gold, C

Size I afghan hook or size to obtain gauge

Yarn needle
Gauge: 13sts and 11 rows = 3” in afghan stitch (tunisian simple stitch).
The afghan is worked in nine panels of 222 rows each. Charts are included for each panel: tree, snowflake, candy cane, and star. The panels are assembled, and decorative embroidery is worked over the seams. The pattern begins on page 70.
