Pattern Description:
I love decorating for Christmas and have one fabric runner with led lights running through the fabric. It’s beautiful lit and that inspired me to design a filet Christmas runner with reindeer. The fabric backing is purely optional but necessary if you want to create a lighted runner. It’s a fun piece and can be used as a hanging if preferred.
Gauge:
2 rows = 1/2”
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
51” L x 14 1/2” W
Materials:
3 balls (416 yds ea) DMC Cebelia (c) crochet cotton thread, size 20 (white or snow white)
Steel crochet hook size 8 USA (1.50 mm)
You Will Also Need:
1 1/2 yds solid fabric for backing (dk blue or as desired) optional
1 1/2 yds sheer fabric for backing (blue or as desired) optional
Matching thread (optional)
Sewing machine (optional)
Sm amt yarn (for joining the backing to the filet) optional
1 set of Philips LED warm white battery operated micro lights (18 bulbs) optional
1 yd (3/8” W) green plaid Christmas ribbon
1 yd (3/8” W) red plaid Christmas ribbon
1/3 yd (3/8”-5/8” W) Christmas ribbon
1 red bead, or red pompom, or red light
