Christmas Plaid Reversible Afghan
Add a touch of warmth with the bright Christmas colors of this reversible afghan. The reversible design was achieved by alternating rows of blue with green, white, red, black and yellow, using a combination of sc and long hdc which are worked into the previous row. The long hdc are worked with the main color on even rows and the contrasting colors on odd rows creating the reversible effect. A length of yarn is left at each end on all contrasting color rows for the fringe. A design chart is also included for reference. Skill Level: Easy.
Finished Size:
47” wide x 62-1/2” long (not including fringe).
Gauge:
10 stitches and 13 rows in 3”
Approximately 2205 yards of blue, 1260 yards of green, 630 yards of red, and 315 yards each of white, black and yellow are needed to complete the afghan.
