This pattern was inspired by the beautiful Hellebore or Christmas Rose. Not a true rose, but a beautiful flower none the less, especially at a time of year when seasonal flowers are few and far between.

The shawl is knitted top down from a garter stitch tab, in 5 sections with a garter st border.
