My Christmas Tree pillow uses pastel colors to crochet granny squares. A few years ago, I made a Christmas tree pillow pattern that uses tapestry crochet, so I thought I would come up with a granny square version for those of us who prefer to work in the round! Five buttons hold the bottom of the pillow together, so you can take the pillow off the insert after Christmas.
I used Cascade Ultra Pima yarn in the following shades (one of each): veiled rose (front side), celery (back side), pink sapphire, gold, ice, cool mint, purple ice, natural, and bright olive. However, any dk weight yarn will work! The trees do not require a lot of yarn, so this is a great project to use up little bits of yarn.
The written pattern includes some pictures to explain the steps. I hope you enjoy the pattern!
