A gorgeous striking and traditional looking Christmas stocking, knitted in a combination of plain stocking stitch and stranded colorwork, with a row of Christmas trees along the top. The stocking is knitted in two pieces, which are a mirror image of each other. There is a deep and wide ribbed section at the top.

The finished stocking measures approximately 18cm wide and 45cm long. The stocking is knitted by shaping the beginning and end of rows, so no special techniques are needed to shape the heel and toe.
