Notions: You’ll need a US Size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle and a US Size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle, both 40”
(100 cm) long if using the magic loop method. Double-pointed needles may be used if preferred.

Yarn Information: I used my own hand-dyed fingering weight yarn, with a yardage of approximately 420
meters (460 yards) per 100 grams. The pattern is designed to use both a solid and a variegated yarn, but feel free
to substitute with any fingering weight yarn of your choice.
You will need about 65 grams in total (approximately 273 meters / 298 yards), divided as follows: around 42
grams (176 meters / 192 yards) of Solid yarn and about 23 grams (96 meters / 104 yards) of Variegated yarn.

Other Information:
* The stitch used in this beanie has become a recent favorite of mine. It works beautifully with variegated yarn,
especially when paired with a solid color. The combination really allows the variegated yarn to shine, making this
stitch a perfect choice for showcasing those special skeins.
