Worked in four easy pieces (front, back, sleeves) and then seamed, this crewneck chevron tunic sits at the low hip once the sheer mohair border is applied. Short-row shoulder shaping enhances the drape and fit. It is sized for generous positive ease with loose sleeves and body. Valley Yarns Colrain’s blend of merino wool and Tencel gives beautiful drape and a soft sheen to this dramatic five-color chevron pattern. Follow the suggested color sequence chart provided with the pattern, or work colors as desired. A slightly gathered lace pattern mohair border knit in Valley Yarns Southampton is worked in the round from the underside of the chevron body to the hem. Working it in larger needles opens up the lace gauge. The chevron body overlaps the mohair border at the hem.
