Chunky Cable Hat
Don’t be put off by the pattern for this lovely hat! It looks more confusing than it actually is! The pattern is just a series of cables that, due to the thickness of the yarn, need to move slowly, round by round, gradually climbing up the hat meaning there are more ‘cable rows’ than you would normally see in a pattern like this. Because of the travelling nature of the cables, there are a few occasions where you need to work the cable over the beginning and end of the round. At these points, the end of the round is moved by one or two stitches. Don’t get too concerned with this… it all works out in the end!
