This is a pattern for a chunky cable scarf and bag, originally published in Knit Today. It has a noughts and crosses cable in a chunky yarn which knits up quickly. The yarn has now been discontinued, any chunky yarn knitting to the tension can be used. Scarf: 20 cm wide x 150 cm long, 8 x balls of yarn. Bag: 23 cm wide x 27 cm long, 5 x balls of yarn, a large wooden button.
