The Chunky Herringbone Cowl is a fast project using a large hook (size Q) and super bulky weight (size 6) yarn. The herringbone half double crochet stitch is used to create the beautiful texture. The herringbone stitch is explained in the pattern. The technique of crocheting in the back ridge loop of the foundation chain is also explained. The finished cowl will measure approximately 25” around and 10” wide.
