Originally designed for Book Week, this fun project will delight children (and adults) at any time during the colder months when you need something cosy to rug up in!

The balaclava is made from the top down, in one piece apart from the antennae, eyes and ‘nose’, which are stitched on later.

You’ll need one ball of the main colour, and a smaller amount of the second colour.

While the balaclava measures approximately 52cm in circumference, it will stretch to fit up to an adult size.
