Lace and garter stitch shift, flow, ripple, and move throughout this multi-colour lap (or baby) blanket. Worked from corner-to-corner, the diamond shape is beautifully enhanced with a textured two-stranded construction and strong diagonal lines.

1 SweetGeorgia Yarns Advent 2020 kit in Midnight Embers (Fingering-weight; 985 yd / 900 m per 9 oz / 264 g set, 82 yd / 75 m per .75 oz / 22 g mini skin; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon).
Please note that this pattern was the mystery knit for SweetGeorgia’s 2020 Advent Kit. Alterntatively, 12 colours of fingering-weight yarn may be used, with a miminum of 82 yds / 75 m in each colour.
