Cinnamon Stars
Cinnamon Stars was inspired by an orchid. Oncidium Twinkle ‘Cinnamon’ blooms with dozens of tiny flowers, cascading downwards from within the leaves. And as you look at them closer, you can smell the warm, spicy scent. The plant was such a surprising delight, it stayed on my mind and turned into a knitted hat.
Using just two colors in an easy colorwork pattern, Cinnamon Stars is a great project for those new to colorwork. And a quick, enjoyable knit to those with more experience. Have fun choosing your colors!
