Circadian
Night or day, the tree line is an inspiring sight that felt right to encapsulate in knitting. When I was inspired to knit it into a cowl, I couldn’t decide if I wanted the background light or dark, and it felt right to include both in my design. I still can’t decide if one is night and the other is day. I’ll leave you to grapple with that with your own color choices. I named it the Circadian Cowl because of how the knitting of the project flows from the knitting of one chart through the knitting of the second chart, just as we cycle through the rhythm of day and night and because the finished cowl leaves you with the choice of one or the other on a reversible cowl.
