Circle Mitts
These fingerless gloves form a circle shape around the thumb. They are knitted without breaking the yarn, so there are only two ends to weave in per mitt. The pattern is written that the mitts can be adjusted to fit different hand sizes. The circle shape shows best when using self striping yarn.
The pattern is available in Russian, too: http://ru-knitting.livejournal.com/5020751.html - thanks to purke.
The Italian translation was provided by Maria Rosa Spighetti mariarosa72: It can be found here.
A German translation was provided by liesl24 and can be found in this blog post.
I also wrote a version for aran weight yarn (see 4th picture) and published it in this blog post.
A crochet version of this pattern is also available on Ravelry called Kreisel Fingerless Gloves.
November 24, 2013:
I published a new version of the pattern on the blog page.
