Adding a splash of colour to your kitchen is easy with these versatile hotpads. Worked up quickly in the round in soft cotton ribbon and featuring a modern colour block design, they’ll protect your surfaces from heat and look great in the process!
What’s more, they can be easily turned into placemats by simply leaving out the hanging cords. Thick, practical, useful, they also make a great handmade gift.

Measurements: 9.5”/24cm
Gauge: N/A
Construction: Worked in the round as a flat circle with a hanging cord attached.

Yarn: One skein each (125 m/136 yds per skein) of Hobbii Friends Ribbon in Candyfloss (45), Oatmilk (03) and Mustard (28).

In this pattern, C1 is Oatmilk (03), C2 is Candyfloss (45) and C3 is Mustard (28).

You will not use the whole skein of C2 and C3 which means you will have enough yarn remaining to make at least one more hotpad in these colours.

This yarn can be substituted by any Super Bulky, 100% cotton, flattened ribbon yarn in three different colours.

Hook(s): 6.00 & 4.50 mm.
Notions: Yarn needle, a stitch marker (if needed to mark the beginning of the round), scissors.
