ABOUT THE PATTERN
The main feature of this vest is the circular bead motif, created using different types and colors of beads. The vest is designed with a cropped fit, but since it is worked from the top down, you can easily try it on as you go and add extra length if desired. If you choose to do so, you will need additional yarn and beads.

You can also choose how many beads to incorporate into your project. You may work the vest with beads throughout or use them only on the front, creating a version that best suits your style and preferences.

Construction
The design begins with the back, worked from the top down using a provisional cast-on and knitted flat. The front is worked from the same cast-on, then joined with the back to continue the body in the round. This pattern includes beads with a crochet hook. GAUGE
19 sts x 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm. Measured over Stockinette stitch after blocking, worked flat with N1 and MC. Make an additional swatch in the round, as the gauge may vary between flat and round knitting. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge for the body.

Needles and Cables
Main Needle (N1): US 6 / 4.0 mm circular needles, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm long.
Ribbing Needle (N2): US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needles, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm long.

Notions
Crochet hook for beading US 12 – 0.60 mm, crochet hook for provisional CO US 7 – 4.5 mm, row counter (recommended), stitch marker, tapestry needle, waste yarn or 1 stitch holder, scrap yarn.

ACERCA DEL PATRÓN
La principal característica de este chaleco es su motivo de círculos con mostacillas, creado utilizando diferentes tipos y colores de mostacillas. Este chaleco sin mangas es hasta la cintura, pero como se teje de arriba hacia abajo, puedes probártelo fácilmente durante el proceso y hacerlo más largo si lo deseas. Si decides hacerlo, necesitarás más hilado y mostacillas.

Puedes tejer el chaleco con mostacillas en toda la prenda o utilizarlas solo en el delantero. Así podrás crear una versión que se adapte mejor a tu estilo y preferencias.

Construcción
La prenda comienza por la espalda, desde arriba hacia abajo utilizando un montaje provisional y tejiendo en plano. El delantero se trabaja a partir del mismo montaje y luego se une a la espalda para continuar el cuerpo en circular.

Teje también una muestra adicional en circular, ya que la tensión puede variar entre tejido en plano y tejido en circular. Ajusta el tamaño de la aguja si es necesario para obtener la tensión correcta del cuerpo.
