This garment is based on a circular shawl starting at the centre of the motif and growing outwards. To create a better fit the armholes are made when the measurements between to ‘points’ of the star are the required shoulder width. The side and lower parts of the garment continue to grow as short rows are worked to being the top section of stitches back into work.

NB as the sizes get larger the gsrment will also get longer.

I am currently working on another version in a thicker yarn which may be more suitable for larger sizes.
