Elegant and simple, the Circumnutation Top is easier to make than it looks, and even easier to wear. This pattern gives you a lovely, light knit top that’s as appropriate for the office as a night on the town! It is named for the process in which a plant will move in circles, especially vines looking for something to hook onto.

The Circumnutation Top is constructed using Caron Simply Soft yarn. Alternative yarn works for this pattern as well, but it may not look exactly the same. Washing is recommended before first wear and will change the drape of this yarn. This top should have a few inches of positive ease- if you want a tighter fit, you can size down. If you want a shorter top, you can use the row instructions for a smaller size (or contact the designer for more details on customization!).

Sizes: XXS (XS, S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
Bust sizes: 26” (30”, 34”, 38”, 42”, 46”) (50”, 54”, 58”, 62”)
Ease: positive ease of approx. 3-5” built in on top of bust size (finished garment will measure 3-5” larger than bust size)
