CONSTRUCTION

First, the two side panels are crocheted.
Then, the sides of the bag are joined together, both along the edges and at the base.
The top edge is worked in the round and includes eyelets to attach the handles.
Finally, a lining is sewn and attached to the bag. Sewing instructions are included.

MEASUREMENTS

Width: 28 cm 11”. Height: 32 cm 12 ½”

MATERIALS

Yarn: For the bag shown in the photos, I used: 3 balls of My Knitted Closet – The Ultra Soft Cotton: 100% cotton. 50g, 180 metres 197 yards, held double.

Since it’s a bag, I recommend using cotton, linen, or a blend of both.

Hook:
US terms: 4.00 mm crochet hook / US size G-6
UK terms: 4.00 mm crochet hook / UK size 8
(Use the hook size needed to obtain gauge.)

Notions:
1 paracord handle with hinged rings. I used the one from My Knitted Closet, which comes in two lengths since it can be adjusted and detached.
Cover photo: only the central part of the handle is used, measuring 60 cm 24”.
Final photos: the full handle is used, measuring 112 cm 44”.
Tapestry needle for sewing and weaving in ends.
Measuring tape or ruler. Scissors.
If you want to add a lining: fabric measuring 66 cm x 30 cm 26 x 12”.
Sewing needle and thread to attach the lining.

GAUGE

Worked in double crochet (US) / treble crochet (UK) using a 4.00 mm hook / US G-6 / UK 8, and blocked:
10 x 10 cm 4 x 4” = 15 stitches x 9 rows

If you’re using fingering weight yarn, like I did, remember to work with it held double

CONSTRUCCIÓN

Primero se tejen las dos piezas laterales.
Después se unen entre sí, tanto por los lados como por la base.
La parte superior se trabaja en circular e incluye ojales para colocar las asas.
Finalmente, se cose un forro que se une al bolso. Incluye las instrucciones para su confección.

MEDIDAS

Ancho: 28 cm 11”. Alto: 32 cm 12 ½”

MATERIALES

Hilo: Para el bolso que se ve en las fotos, he usado:
3 ovillos de My Knitted Closet - The Ultra Soft Cotton: 100% algodón. | 50 gr, 180 metros 197 yardas, tejido a doble hebra.

Como es un bolso, te recomiendo usar hilo de algodón, de lino o una mezcla de ambos.

Agujas: Aguja de crochet de 4.00mm / US 6. Usa la aguja necesaria para obtener la muestra.

Extras:
1 asa de cuerda con argollas con bisagra, yo he usado la de My Knitted Closet, tiene dos largos, ya que se puede desmontar y poner a varios tamaños.
Foto con asa corta: mide 60 cm 24”.
Fotos con el asa completa: mide 112 cm 44”.
Aguja lanera para coser y rematar cabos.
Metro o regla. Tijeras.
Si quieres poner forro: Tela para el forro, de las siguientes medidas: 66 cm x 30 cm 26 x 12”.
Aguja e hilo de coser para coser el forro.

MUESTRA

Tejido en punto alto, con aguja de 4.00mm / US 6, y después de bloquear, 10x10 cm / 4”, son:
15 puntos x 9 vueltas

Si usas hilo de grosor fingering, como el que yo he usado, recuerda tejerlo a hebra doble.
