CLAP!
A simple mitten pattern with no seaming, knit in the round, from cuff to tip. A great way to use that special sock yarn too pretty to hide in your shoes. And with six different sizes, you can make a pair for everyone you know.
These can also be worn with the reverse stockinette stitch side facing outward. To achieve this, work the mitten as written, but weave in ends on the stockinette side, so that when the mitten is turned inside out, the ends are properly hidden.
Sample worked in Women’s Medium.
Sizes: Children’s 2T – Men’s Large
Mitten Circumference: 5” (6”, 7”, 8”, 9”, 10”) with a total length of 6.75” (8”, 8.5”, 10”, 11”, 12”), cuff to tip.
Yardage (for 2 mittens): 121 (187, 202, 271, 333, 396) yards
