My design ideas and advice: I designed this hat based on my childhood memories of a cable hat that my mother knitted for me when I was a baby. There are photos of me wearing it and then photos of my younger sister wearing the same hat a couple of years later.

After I designed the baby version I realised I wanted one too so the Clapham Hat is the adult version of the Clapdale hat. A hat design for every member of the family!
