Clara the Cat has a pretty summer outfit for a day at the beach. Worked mostly in stockinette with increases and decreases for shaping, this pattern includes the cat, skirt, sweater and underwear.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, this toy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, toy safety eyes and a stitch holder.

SIZES
One size only - 17cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include long tail cast on, backward loop cast on, casting off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
