This hat is knit from the bottom up, mostly in the round. First both earflaps are worked back and forth, then the final head circumference is cast on between earflaps to work the hat in the round. Easy Garter stitch keeps the focus on the yarn/colors. Size can be increased/ decreased by increasing/reducing the number of cast on stitches. More slouch can be added to crown by adding more rounds before starting the crown shaping.
