A simple but sophisticated cowl worked from the bottom up in the round with horizontal stripes of lace ribbing. This project is perfect for beginners and is easily adjustable.

Chameleon Colorworks, Evolution [100% merino wool content; 2oz/57g; 154yd/141m]; Sport weight, color October, 2 skeins
1 set US #5/3.75 mm 16” OR 24” circular needle
Tapestry needle, stitch marker
GAUGE
15 sts/30 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking; gauge is not critical for this item but may affect yardage.
PATTERN NOTES
Worked in the round from the bottom up, this cowl has a stretchy cast on and bind off. You can adjust circumference by adding or subtracting stitches in multiples of 6.
