By crocheting two “curly cue’s” and twisting them around each other, it makes a fun effect that creates a wreath when the ends are joined together. Like the granny square, this style of ornament has been around for a very long time with different variations and tutorials. You only need to know how to chain and make the half double crochet stitch so this is a fairly beginner friendly project. These wreaths are a cute addition to your holiday tree or even as an accent when attached to a gift bag.
Materials Needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in 3 colours. I used WeCrochet Wool of the Andes (approx. 9 yards for colour A “Red”, 9 yards for colour B “Grass”, 1 ½ yards for colour C “White”)
- 4mm hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
