YARN, GAUGE AND MACHINE: 
2 gauges are given so that either a standard or bulky machine may be used.

I Love This Yarn or other soft worsted  gets a gauge of 4 stitches/6 rows per  inch at about stitch size 5 on the bulky  Most mid-gauge machines can match this  gauge. Bonds try keyplate 3 and work the  ribbing by reforming stitches. 3 skeins of  I Love This Yarn are needed for first 2  sizes. The 3rd size may require 4. Note  that plain colors come in 7 oz. Skeins  while self-pattering colors are 5 oz  skeins. The 42” size requires 20 oz. of worsted weight acrylic yarn in all. For  standard gauge and Passap machines, choose one of the many yarns that gets 7  stitches/10 rows per inch. 1 lb will be adequate for sizes throuah 42”. Larger  sizes require a second cone
