This pattern combines crochet and knit and is worked from the center top out to the long bind-off edge. First, you crochet the triangle then stitches are picked up and knit along the last crochet row and the border is knit in a simple ridge pattern. Add the knit on fringe edging or just bind off and leave a straight edge.

This is more of a recipe than a pattern and can be worked in any weight yarn at any gauge!

Approximate yarn required in DK/Sport weight yarn:
72” inches across top and 36” deep at center: 400g
64” inches across top and 32” deep at center: 315g
60” inches across top and 30” deep at center: 275g
56” inches across top and 28” deep at center: 240g
