Cleo is a tubby, little happy cat. Being on the chunkier side, she spends most of her time sitting or cat-napping. She also works up wonderfully with plush yarn for that extra squish-factor!

The pattern is an easy level and uses US terms. A knowledge of how to crochet is essential as it does not teach you how to crochet, it simply provides instructions to make the toy.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Cleo is approx. 11cm tall using Rico Creative Cotton (Aran) yarn.

You will receive one PDF file which requires software like Adobe Reader to open (this is free to download).

You will need:

• 3.50mm hook/E (US)
• 10ply yarn (Worsted / Aran) > less than 50g in each colour
• BLACK and WHITE embroidery thread
• A pair of 9mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
• I’ve used Rico Creative Cotton (Aran) in the following: o WHITE = col. 80 White o PINK = col. 00 Rose o GREY = col. 22 Silver Grey
