Clever Cape
From the Knit Picks Website:
Remember the ponchos we loved knitting and crocheting in the 60s? No? Ask your Mom! She’ll tell you everyone was wearing them in all colors. They only had one drawback – they just didn’t stay in place! Well the Clever Cape has solved that. My fix: I added a bottom band! Just pick up stitches along the bottom of the front and back triangles, join and rib down to form a clever keep-the-cape-in-place band.
As pictured, this 14” scrunchy funnel neck can pull up over your head for a cool weather hood. You get the idea – you can make the neck as long as you want. Or, make two Clever Capes: one with a lower neck for a cool summer evening cover up and one for a winter keep-warm snuggle.
