Climbing Vines Cowl
When I was making a sweater for a sample recently, I realized I had a ton of extra yarn. So after some chatting, I decided I would design a cowl with the leftover yarn! Thus the Climbing Vines Cowl was born!
Stuff you need:
Hook size: I (5.5mm)
Yarn: 265 yards of worsted weight yarn. I used Blue Sky Fibers Woolstock for this.
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitch markers
Stitches and techniques to know:
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
bphdc - back post half double crochet
fptrc - front post treble crochet
fpdc - front post double crochet
Puff stitch - yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over again, insert hook into the same stitch, pull up a loop (5 loops on hook). Repeat this one more time (7 loops on hook) yarn over and pull through all of the loops. DO NOT CHAIN 1 AFTER DOING THIS.
