Cloud Dancer Collar is a romantic lace collar knitting pattern. The collar features a wavy lace pattern with faux cables that creates beautiful movement and texture while remaining light and wearable. An i-cord tie at the front allows you to finish the collar with a delicate bow.

This modern detachable knitted collar pattern is worked seamlessly from the neckline outward and is an enjoyable small knitting project with a rhythmic stitch pattern. The lace is worked only on every fourth row, so you always have three rows of simple knit and purl stitches in between.

The length of the collar is easily adjustable by adding more repeats of the lace pattern, allowing you to customize the size and drape.

Cloud Dancer Collar can be knitted with a single strand of DK weight yarn for a more structured appearance, or with fingering weight yarn held together with silk mohair for a softer, airier fabric. For a very light and dreamy version, you can also knit it with two strands of mohair held together.

This dreamy knit accessory works beautifully layered over sweaters, blouses, dresses, or even worn under a coat for a subtle vintage-inspired detail. It’s a perfect quick knit accessory, a lovely stash-friendly project, and an elegant way to add texture and softness to everyday outfits.
