I was inspired to bring back one of my oldest designs, these kerchiefs were very popular when I sold the ready made pieces at boutiques in the early 2000s. Now you can make your own. The pattern comes with 2 options, an open kerchief that you can tie as well as a joined cowl. Both can be worn on the neck or head and there are customizing notes included if you want to change the size or texture of the fabric.

MATERIALS
US 5 16” / 3.75mm 40cm circular needle. Stitch marker.
90-180 Yards / 82-164 meters DK weight yarn (Color A in pattern - Sample knit in La Bien Aimée- Merino DK - Pink Graphite)
115-230 Yards / 105-210 meters Lace weight yarn (Color B in pattern - Sample knit in La Bien Aimée - Mohair Silk - Sansa)

Kerchief: 30” x 9 1⁄2’” / 76.2 x 24.1 cm Cowl: 20” x 13” / 50.8 x 33 cm

GAUGE
18 stitches and 46 rows = 4” / 10cm
in garter stripe pattern on US 5 / 3.75mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
