Cloud Nine
This pullover is knitted in one of our favourite new yarns from
West Yorkshire Spinners. It’s 100% wool from Wensleydale
sheep, whose fleece has a unique lustre and halo which
translates into a yarn that really has a beautiful drape and shine.
The body is worked flat but we recommend circular needles to
accommodate the large number of stitches.
When increasing in lace pattern it is important that on patterned
rows every yo is paired with a corresponding decrease to keep
the pattern correct. To help with this you can separate each whole
pattern repeat with a marker and keep any increased edge stitches
in stocking stitch until there are enough stitches for a complete
repeat (10 sts). Once there are enough stitches for a repeat, shift the repeat markers towards the edge to include those 10 stitches when working lace.
