Cloud Valley
This beautiful shawl starts with a wide lace border; a combination of short rows and decreases in garter stitch creates it’s crescent shape. It’s a very elegant design that’s perfect for showcasing a special skein of yarn.
Includes both written and charted instructions.
Materials:
Kettle Yarn Co Beyul (4ply; 60% superwash merino wool/20% baby yak down/20% silk; 366m/400yds per 100g skein) Yurt; 1 x 100g skein
4mm (UK 8/US 6) circular needles 80cm long
Size:
Inner Crescent: 124cm/50in
Outer Crescent: 189cm/74.5in
Depth: 34cm/13.5in
Tension:
18 sts and 20 rows to 10cm over Chart on 4mm needles.
Errata April 2016:
Chart rows 11, 17, 19, 21 - written instructions:
work pattern repeat to last 11 sts.
