Cloudfall Cardigan
The cardigan is worked using a decorative elongated stitch, making it a fun and versatile statement piece. It is constructed top down, beginning with the back panel, which is shaped using short rows to form the shoulder slope. This piece is then cast off and turned upside down, stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge to continue working downward. Complete the upper back section with armhole increases.
The stitches are placed on hold while each front piece is picked up and worked separately, shaping the shoulders with short rows
and the V-neck and underarm with increases. Next, all pieces are joined at the underarm, then the body is completed and finished
with a ribbed hem.
Stitches are then picked up around the armhole. Short rows and stockinette stitch are used to shape the sleeve cap before work
ing the lace pattern in the round and finishing with a ribbed cuff. Finally, the cardigan is completed by picking up stitches around
the front and neck edges and working a ribbed edging.
The pattern is divided into sections and subsections as a guide to help you find your place easily
