Beautiful striped top with V-neck and folded hem, worked seamlessly from top down. The shoulders are shaped with short rows.
The back is worked first. Stitches for each front are then picked up from the CO-row of the back and worked separately to the given length, adding the V-neck shaping. The fronts are then joined and worked in one piece to the same length as the back. Front and back are then joined and the body is worked in the round. Neckline and armholes are left unfinished.
The pattern includes photo tutorials for sewing down the folded hem and for German short rows.
Tip: an alternative method for attaching the folded hem can be found in this video (youtube link). The sample yarn was too slippery to comfortably use this technique but for more coarse yarns this is a good option.
