Clover Lace Scarf
Tiny four-leaf clovers dots this reversible garter stitch lace scarf. Simple increases and decreases slant the stitches, and the sides are edged with lacy picots.
This asymmetrical shallow triangle begins with a few stitches at one end and increases every other row to a cast-off edge that forms the triangle’s slightly shorter second side. The lace repeats over 6 stitches and 12 rows, so it is easy to memorize. Since the scarf can be cast off at the end of any 12-row repeat, it also is easy to customize the size. An option is included for plain edges instead of picots.
Designed for fingering weight yarns, it also can be knit in a variety of lace and Shetland/Sport/DK weight yarns.
